The dedication of the dance reads: for the <u>Weak<\u>end at Edzell, March 2001.
John Drewry wrote that dance in the month prior to the Edzell event.
Drewry specifies:
“The dance may be done as a Strathspey, as a Reel, or as a Medley (a Strathspey followed by a Reel). It involves almost continuous dancing and therefore should not be done too many times or it will expose those who are “the Weakest Link” stamina-wise.”
Note the progression: back at starting positions after twice through.
