Devised by Alison Smith in honour of Aurora member José Solera on his return to Spain in September 2005. Our friend wholeheartedly embraced the local culture while in Scotland. José says “During my stay in Aberdeen, I was blessed by the friendship of Aurora members who introduced me to the local culture. I love Scotland’s hospitable self, its land and people, its language and music. This dance was a truly wonderful leaving present and I feel deeply honoured that it has been chosen for Aurora 's 10th anniversary dance book.”
