Devised by Anne Thorn in September 2010 for her husband who had the privilege of travelling to, and working on, the island of St. Kilda in the late 1970s early 1980s. St Kilda was evacuated 80 years ago in 1930 and bequeathed by the Marquess of Bute to The National Trust for Scotland in 1957.
