John Drewry noted in the original description that the dance is for Betty Haughey of Glasgow, who died in Benidorm 12 January, 1977.
The notes also mention using the tune I Lo'e nae a Laddie but Ane “which gives the right impulse for the dance” until an original tune for the dance was composed (which was since done).
