The name means “Land of the Eternal Young”.

It was published by the RSCDS in a leaflet along with dances collected by Mary MacNab. However, according to the notes, this is a traditional dance from Lewis in the Outer Hebrides and was collected by Iain MacFarlane (of Toronto). It is sometimes danced to mouth music.
