Lugnasad Celtic Dance School demo at Lviv, october 2007. The transition on [15-16] from the mirror reels into the rondel is danced according to Drewry's original text in Book 23 which says: "First couple, giving right hands cross to own sides, dance up to the top and turn to face the second couple who have danced in ready for the Rondel." The current instructions say: "First couple, giving right hands, dance up turning halfway round to finish facing second couple ready for the Rondel." For further information look at the “Extra Info” for the dance. Many dancers prefer the original instructions. The dancers here take hands during the reels, possibly following that suggestion in earlier versions of the e-crib and minicrib. However taking hands is not mentioned in the original instructions (except for 1st couple when crossing). As of April 2019 the e-crib has been updated to match and the comment forwarded to the minicrib team.
