I cannot find any original text in my files. Keith and Heiko, can you find out how “Platnum” arose: was it a copied misprint or a simple typo? Keith Rose added the dance to SCDDB on Jan. 5, 2017, 11:09 a.m., and Heiko edited it on Feb. 13th. See also issue 1117. Sorry I can’t help. Eric

Hi all,
when I added the CD, the book was already in and the dance was in the database as Platnum Sky. Since I do not have the original book, I accepted the current dance title as is and added “Platinum Sky” as an alternative spelling, furthermore I added notes pointing out the difference.
However, I cannot tell whether the dance is called “Platinum Sky” or “Platnum Sky” in the book. If somebody could look that up, that would be helpful.
Amanda Peart has adopted the book - thus, I will write her an email asking whether she could check.
Best wishes, Heiko

I got an answer from Amanda - “Platnum” is a typo introduced in the process of entering the dance into the database, because this spelling is used nowhere in the book.
Thus, I have purged “Platnum” as well as all notes referring to it from SCDDB.
Case closed, I’d say!
Cheers, Heiko
