Description

As part of a search of a daily database dump for duplicate dance entries I also came across this pair:

Bonnie Breist Knots, The (http://my.strathspey.org/dd/dance/640/) Bonnie Briest Knot, The (http://my.strathspey.org/dd/dance/14299/) both with “unknown” devisor.

The second entry (14299) is empty except for a link to a recording of the tune under an alias name (with alternative spelling?). Is this really a different dance or a duplicate entry for the first very fully specified one?

Disposition changed to »Needs help« (previously »New«)

As far as I can see this is not a duplicate. Dance 640 is a 3C/4L Strathspey from “The Border Book”; it is quite well known. Dance 14299 is marked as a Highland step dance, and has recent recordings by Muriel Johnstone and Keith Smith. Can some other editor please speak the final word? Eric
