We danced Alex Doig’s Jig with friends in Gloucester and we aren’t quite sure that the Strathspey Crib and/or Keith’s diagram are correct / clear. I don’t have the original instructions and I’ve just pasted the Mini crib version below. May be worth checking.
I don’t see any obvious differences between what we have and MiniCrib (maybe I didn’t look closely enough). Does anyone have the original instructions and can look into this?

1- 8 1s set, cross RH, cast 1 place & turn LH to face 1st corner
9-16 1s dance reels of 3 across giving RSh to 1st corner while 2s+3s dance reels of 3 on sides & 1s end turning LH to face 3rd corner
17-24 1s dance reels of 3 across giving RSh to 3rd corner while 2s+3s dance reels of 3 on sides & 1s end turning LH to face 1st corner
25-32 1s+1st corners turn RH, pass RSh to turn 2nd corner LH & cross LH to places

Thanks Diane and Anselm. I have a copy of the original instructions. The reels across for 1c start Rsh to 1st and 3rd corners. I have corrected my crib, which did not make that clear. Keith’s diagram still needs to be corrected. Issue fixed.
