Description

The inscription on the book states: Several years ago, Leicester Branch ran a competiton to devise a dance (a four-couple strathspey) to fit a tune called “Daunder in the Glen” composed by one of our members. My contribution was not successful, but on the principle of “ if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again, I adapted it for a three-couple set and submitted it for this book. This is the result.

I have also noticed that the tune is printed on the book as " Miss Nichola Jack" I do not have the original recording to compare what was printed on the recording.
