Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

I have looked many times at the diagram for this dance. As far as I am aware, women are represented by the squares and men by the circles. In this diagram, it appears to me that the women are standing on their partner’s left at the beginning of the dance; this is 1) unusual and 2) not mentioned in the published instructions (Ladies of Dunse / 7).
