This is not in fact true – see my message to the dancedata-friends list of 26 December 2012, entitled »CDDB IDs«.

In a nutshell, any database editor can add CDDB IDs to the corresponding Album entries. The message goes into more detail as to how to handle double albums; get in touch if you’d like me to forward you a copy.

I’m setting this issue back to »Being handled« since I don’t see a problem with either Meinhard or you tackling this. (I have bigger fish to fry at the moment, and it will be a valuable learning experience ;^))
