According to the CD sleeve, the first tune is referred to as ‘Original’.
The original tune published by the RSCDS for the dance is “Oh! As I Was Kissed Yestreen” while “Hey To Cupar” was published as the alternative tune.
I have listened to several other recordings for “A Kiss For Nothing” and have decided that the first tune is indeed “Oh! As I Was Kissed Yestreen”!

Correct. Lots of recordings name “… Yestreen” as the tune used as “original”, so I changed our database record accordingly.
