I don’t have the written description, but the diagram phrasing suggests a 40 bar dance while the figures add up to 32. The solid line down the middle of the bottom half - (i.e. last 8 bars) should be dashed; the phrasing is weird enough that it took me an effort to sort it out. But the dance looks nice.
