Whilst the extra information suggests that there are modifications that can be made to the Cumberland Reel as editor of The Reel I specifically published The New Cumberland Reel which is in effect a new dance based on how the original Cumberland Reel was often being danced without any description being available for teachers to follow. Therefore please could you add this dance to the data base as a separate dance. It is published on p14 of The Reel 310.
