Please add in Extra Info Berkhamsted was where in 1066 Saxon leaders offered the crown of England to William of Normandy. The castle’s construction was begun that year. The dance was devised to celebrate 60 years of friendship at Berkhamsted Strathspey & Reel Club and depicts the castle motte and bailey whilst echoing the club’s Diamond Jubilee through it’s patterns. Many thanks
