Thanks. I have added a currently very empty entry for that album which was not previously in the database. See https://my.strathspey.org/dd/album/1131/

I found a list of the tunes used on each track at http://www.nigelgatherer.com/perf/fiddlers/ian_powrie.html but that does not say which dances they are intended for. So for the moment I have only added the recording you mentioned and linked it to the corresponding dance.

If you have more information about the dances please either reply to this issue or submit one for the above album.

Additional comment received from Ian Russell by email:

The “Last of the Lairds” is the only recognisable SCD on the LP.
There are some very nice medleys - March/Strathspey/Reel & Strathspey/Reel which Helen and I have used for Highland Duets in our younger days, and there is a set of Shetland Reels and a set of Shetland two step tunes.
Spic and Span is a “European style” polka.
The rest of the tracks are vocal or fiddle solo - nice to listen to, but not suitable for dancing.

(From an image that cannot be pasted into this issue, the Shetland Reels, 4x32, are track 1, Shetland Two Step track 13, Spic and Span track 6).
