Issue 2718: Connie's Jig
- Object
- Connie's Jig (Dance)
- Submitter
- Stephen Goulden (SteveG)
- Assigned to
- Murrough Landon
- Priority
- Normal
- Disposition
- Fixed
- Description
-
Connie was a traditionalist and disliked the many new dance sequences which complicated her final years’ dancing pleasure as she could get her head around many of them. This dance uses no ‘new’ sequences. Moreover, when she had to stop dancing through ill-health, she still got pleasure from watching, and laughing when mistakes were made; one unusual move in the dance provides many opportunities for such laughter.

Thanks. I added that to the “extra info” for the dance.
Though I noticed you wrote “as she could get her head around…”. From the sense I assumed there ought to be a “not” in there. Could you confirm?
