This tune is a jig and it refers “There And Back Again” which is a reel. There are several version of “There And Back Again”. The one linked in this tune is the one with id 6520, which is a reel. The one that should be linked should probably be the one with id 14606, which is a jig.

There is also 18911 which is a second jig of the same name, but this one from Sue McKinnell has some other recording specified. And 14606 which only appears with some source in our SCDDB list has no music suggestion at all. It is unlikely that West Kirkton is a named tune for one of those two dances. The only question remaining then if West Kirkton is a source given in the publication for this dance or not. Someone have it to double check?
