The crib (and the video) have the first couple facing clockwise, and 2nd couple facing anti clockwise round the room in this 2 couple dance. In the original instructions from “Let’s All Dance” it is clearly stated that 1st couple is “facing counter clockwise”. This is a “first night” or audience participation dance.

This is a Minicrib, so I am sending this on to that team.
The original instructions (in the publication “Let’s all Dance”) say: 9-16. 1st couple (facing counterclockwise) joining nearer hands dance between the 2nd couple (who stand still), drop hands, separate and dance back to original place (4 steps). Turn partner by the right hand (4 steps).
In the instructions attached to the sole video it is stated mistakenly that the first couples face CLOCKWISE. That is also how it is danced in the video. I have added a note to the video on SCDDB stating this error.
