1-8 1st, 2nd and 3rd couples dance a three couple bourrel. M: 312 W: 231 9-16 All three couples dance set and rotate for three couples. M: 213 W: 132 17-24 2nd and 1st men also 3rd and 2nd women dance set and link for two couples finishing 123; 1st couple dance down the centre to finish facing each other (2), 1st couple set advancing passing left shoulders to face their 1st corners (on bars 21-22 2nd couple step up). 25-32 1st couple and 1st corners dance corners pass and allemande turn (corners allemande right) finishing 1st couple passing right shoulders to face their 2nd corners; 1st couple and 2nd corners dance corners pass and allemande turn (corners allemande right) finishing 1st couple passing right shoulders to 2nd place own sides. 213 25-28 1st couple dance round their 1st corner positions by the right and pass right shoulders to finish facing their 2nd corners. Meanwhile the corners dance in joining right hands, 3rd woman dances under 2nd man’s raised arm and the 3rd woman curves out to place as the man retires. 29-32 Repeat 29-32 with 2nd corners.

(2)13 25-32 2nd couple dance a half figure of eight crossing down between 1st couple while 1st couple set turning on the spot once (1st man clockwise and 1st woman counter-clockwise); all three couples turn partners once right hand. 2,1,3

Hello Moira. I see you added some cribs. Indeed the format is not the expected “ACE Markdown” syntax. There is a help file on this at https://my.strathspey.org/u/murrough/docs/ContributedCribs/ so perhaps you can try editing your crib. Basically the bar range, eg 1-8, needs to be on its own line and the separate line with crib text must start with colon and space ": ". Then there should be no need for blank lines.
