What is the difference between the Hands Round and Hands Round and Back?
I noticed that Da Rain Dancin’ uses
Set to Corners and Partner (C-SCP) Hands round - 6 (HR;6P;)
That seems to be consistent with the formation choice in the Birks of Invermay. However, similar formation in Reel of Royal Scots uses
Hands round - 6 - and back (HR;6P;BACK;)
Would appreciate the clarification.
Charles

Of course it is “Hands round - 6 - and back”, both in “Da Rain Dancin’” and in “The Birks of Invermay”. For clarity I prefer “Circle and back”.
“Hands round” is one way only, normally in 4 bars.
Crib corrected. Formation corrected, also in “the Birks of Invermay”. Issue Fixed. Eric
