Description

Diagram, I think, needs slight amendment at bars 27-30. According to both cribs bars 27-28 1s & 2s 3/4 turn Ls RH Gs LH. They should finish 3s & 1s with 3s facing out. Bars 29-30 3s & 1s set turning about 3s then face in & 1s face out with opposite hands ready for 1/2 turns to finish 1s in 2nd pl facing in and 3s in 3rd pl facing out ready to begin again.

I agree, the Keith’s diagram (though writing 3/4) shows position after only 1/4 turns at bar 29. 1s and 3s should be exchanged. Obeying the diagram further would end the phrase in 231 instead of 213.

I’d like to add one thing. Keith, you should add the meanwhile-brackets at 11-12 and 15-16. I got confused with the timing seeing B,T1/2,S,B,T1/2,S within 8bars - just using the alignment of the S to 3c and 2c as an indicator for a meanwhile can easily be misleading.

(The MiniCrib also contains an error, leaving out completely the Settings at bars 11-12 and 15-16. - I have sent an email to the MiniCrib team.)

All the best, Heiko

Hi Keith,

yes, most of it - thanks ;)

Only, the circle-arrow-subscript is slightly misleading because the direction is only correct for the ladies, but not for the gentlemen (unless they turn about away from each other ;)

Would it be a good idea to have an additional “S” with the arrow anti-clockwise for the men?

What do you think?

Cheers, Heiko

But they are all pulling right shoulder back, ie rotating clockwise.

The text implies that the setting pairs turn towards each other. I have corrected my crib, but Keith still needs to adjust the direction of rotation on the setting. Eric

Thank you for the original instructions, Heiko. They certainly helped me.
