Description

The header for Keith’s diagram includes “8x32”. To be consistent with other detail in the database, including the music, I suspect that it should be “4x32”.

Keith’s diagram also shows the dance as 3C/4L. Unless it has been changed on the last revision of book 17 (can someone please check) the dance is 4C/4L (final words: 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples step up on bars 31 · 32.). Eric

According to the combined A5 edition of Books 13 to 18, which is the most recent version according to the Society, it’s a four-couple dance in a four-couple set. Slow jigs being the sure-fire crowd-pleasers that they are, I’m pretty sure most people would consider four times through the dance to be ample.

Diagram corrected. Thank you. This dance hardly seems worth doing for poor 4th couple.
