Your database correctly allocates the tune Miss Susan Inglis to the dance The Blithest Lass that ever Was Seen. On the dance title page, this tune is ascribed to Nan Main.
However, on the Recording page, the composer is listed as Muriel Johnstone. This is incorrect - though perfectly understandable, as it’s Muriel’s band on the CD, and Muriel DID compose a tune of that name. However, that one is the lead tune for the Oriel Strathspey, and not at all like Nan Main’s.
(There’s a third tune by that name as well - but let’s not go there!)
Dance Database continues to be THE source of information on dances and music. It’s a fantastic resource - thank you!
Lynne

It seems to me this issue had been dealt with already, as the Nan Main version of this tune is already assigned as first tune for that recording. Closing the issue.
