Colin Andrews (with whom I have been corresponding) states that he devised Polka Dot Polka and published its description in his 1995 book The Devonian Double Circle: A selection of twenty-five original dances. A second edition exists and is available from http://www.bonnygreen.co.uk/. I do hope that you can give the deviser/devisor the proper credit for his dance. Sincerely, Ron Houston, Ph.D., Trustee The Society of Folk Dance Historians P.S.: Many thanks for this wonderful research tool that you have created.

Colin has sent me a wide collection of his dances; the great majority are ECD. “Polka dot Polka” is the only one which he knows to have migrated to SCD. Fixed. Eric
