25-32 1st couple lead down between the 3s, cross over, and cast up around 3s into second place own sides. All turn partner once round by the right hand in four bars.

Note: in a three-couple set, on bars 25-28 the 1s should cross down to 3rd place, 3s stepping up, and set, after which bars 29-32 proceed as written with the dancers in order 2, 3, 1.

This dance was written for Montreal’s beginner class at the A&P, in order to help introduce reels on the diagonal. The name was rather aspirational, it being an unusually cold and grey April at the time.
