The set is now inverted ; repeat using the bottom (3c) as new top. In 6 times through each couple dances once as 1c from »each hemisphere«.
Note: On , some dancing couples choose to face in after the RH turn and then cast into the next figure.
On 2nd chord 3c+4c change sides to 1,2,3x,4x. Centro-symmetrical dance.
Note: This crib follows the current way of dancing. In the original instructions, the promenade [25-32] is cclw. Bill Hamilton said in 'hindsight' this promenade should be clw, but preferred not to change the official instructions. Bill disapproved of another variant, where the circle [121-128] is continued to the R only.

In some areas the inner dancers who pass to corners stay facing out, and swivel to face inwards during the setting.

Canon. A new top couple starts dancing every 16 bars, and each continues dancing until they reach their original positions, so that the dance starts from the top, and ends from the top. 1c face out after the chord.
On bar 48 the order will be 4,5,3x,1,2.
On bar 64 the order will be 5,1,4x,2,3.
On bar 80 the order will be 1,2,5x,3,4 and 1c and 2c stop.
On bar 96 the order will be 1,2,3,4,5, all stopped.
After 2nd turn the old 1c casts to 4pl on the new [1-2]
4s+5s+6s start on opp sides
Square set, with 5c in the middle facing 1c.
