David Brandon was involved in founding a number of RSCDS Branches, like those of Los Angeles, Hawaii and Tokyo.
In 1966, the year he helped founding the LA branch, he married Mary Shoolbraid and she moved from Vancouver to Los Angeles.
Due to his work Mary and David moved to Hawaii in the early 1970s where they founded the Hawaii Branch in 1973. After his retirement in 1991 they moved back to LA. Here David was involved and teaching SCD classes in South Pasadena, West Los Angeles, and Simi Valley.
David received the RSCDS Scroll of Honour in 1996.
David died on May 1, 2002.
