PDF scans of all 55 issues of The Thistle, published betwen 1961 and 1973, are available via London Branch Archives.

Assignment of dance numbers in a magazine is not entirely clear. Most are now listed by the issue number, but a few, perhaps only mentioned in passing, still have number 0. As these are generally republications, the dance “priority” is set to 40 so they appear after an original publication. However the descriptions here frequently have some interesting background information.
