These 10 dances devised by the Branch members to celebrate the 25th Anniversary have been carefully chosen from those submitted.

The music is a mixture, some of which has been especially composed for us, and some of course is traditional.

The CD that accompanies this collection has the music and descriptions of these 10 dances. That CD also has the music and descriptions of five other leaflet dances published over the preceding 10 years by the Leicester Branch; these are Jaunty Jack, The Jovial Gentleman, Daunder in the Glen, The Heather Bank Jig, Bonnie Buchanhaven. In this database those dances are listed as a separate publication (http://my.strathspey.org/dd/publication/1297/), as they are not actually part of “The Silver Collection”.
