Iain Gent writes: “I have an old photocopy of music which states attributed to Burns.” Jo Pickering states in issue 617 that this tune “… appears to be a quote from Burns’s poem Mary Morrison - ‘Yestreen when to the trembling string the dance gaed through the lichted ha’'. It is to be sung to the tune Duncan Davison.”
