The notes say this was “Written for a Twixmas party at the home of Frances Richardson who won half a gallon of whisky and needed some help in drinking it up. Unfortunately the party goers didn’t manage to drink it all so we have enjoyed several parties since!! The Twixmas Hornpipe was composed by Chris Dewhurst who also plays for dancing at the parties.”
