The dance was originally published in RSCDS Leeds 10th Anniversary Book Dandies is a crofter’s cottage in Uyeasound, Unst, Shetland, where part of the Peter’s family lived. Kirkstall Road (the name of the principle tune) is where the original Leeds Branch classes started in 1962.
