- 1–4
- Couples take nearer hands and set, men dance two skip changes of step to the centre;
- 5–8
- Pulling right shoulder back, men dance out towards partner, give right hand and turn to finish back in the circle.
- 9–16
- Couples take nearer hands and set, women two skip changes of step to the centre, pull left shoulder back, dance out towards partner and giving left hands turn to places.
- 17–20
- Women stand still, while men dance in front of partner and the next woman in the circle, returning back to place by dancing behind the same two dancers outside the circle.
- 21–24
- Men stand still while women dance in front of partner, and the next man in the circle and behind them back to place.
- 25–32
- All take hands in the circle and using slip step dance round to the left and back again.
