Devised by Sue Ronald as an opening dance for a ‘Not dancing with your partner’ class at the New Hampshire Highlands Weekend, August 2016.

I saw the movement described in bars 1–8 and 17–24 in the dance Pudsey Bear by Louise Macdougall. ‘Detour chase’ is my name for the movement. The advance and retire of bars 25–28 symbolize the Reunion.

Music: Any lively single jig
