The notes in the book say that “the half turn and cast reels resemble the rose progression, and here the idea is that these celebrate the two roses, Lancaster and York, to form the Tudor rose, which is represented by the espagnole.”

1–2: 2c+3c pass 1c/4c RSh then ½ turn BH & face on sides while{2} 1c & 4c dance to ends & loop (as normal Reel4)
