As reported in issue 2291 this dance is also known as Dunvegan Castle which is the ancestral home of the McLeods. The third figure is also known as the Castle Walls.
According to some, the dance dates back to the 16th century. It is said to represent the formation of the Castle. The dance was collected from Allan McDonald of Truro, Nova Scotia, Canada.
