In THE TINKER’S REEL, the tune is given as “Rosin the Beau”. This is a JIG but the dance is given as a REEL. I have no explanation for this error, which is quite uncharacteristic of Roy. I do not feel qualified to make an alternative choice of recommended tune. Teachers should therefore make their own choice, informed by competant musicians where possible. Bob Donald
