This dance commemorates Mrs. Mina Corson’s visit to North America during the RSCDS Jubilee Year, 1973. Bars 1–16 symbolize travel back and forth across the continent, 17–32 symbolize her meeting many dancers, and 33–40 are the Knot, a new progression which Mrs. Corson had devised that year for the RSCDS jubilee dance “Miss Milligan’s Strathspey.”

The dance was first published in the Tartan Times for November, 1973. It has also been published by Scottish Dance Archives, Formby, England.
