In the original text, this was a 3-couple dance, with 1c dancing the ½ Fig8 down on [29–32], and 3c only being “posts”. The conversion to a 2c dance was approved by Barry in his “Strathspey” message 23362. In the 3C variant, 1st couple, at the end, dances the 1/2 Figure of 8 round 3rd couple instead of the 2nd.
