Dance Video Rodney's Rant (Video 7)

(No short description)
On Saturday, 21st September, 2013, the Telheiras Scottish Country Dance Group performed six country dances at the "Olhar Carnide" festival in Carnide, Lisbon. Three were old dances from the 18th and 19th centuries and three were modern dances. This was the fourth, a modern country dance devised by Ann Dix called Rodney's Rant. As we did not have the correct music to hand, and we only wanted to do the dance 4x through, we used "Gypsy Tap" (!) from the Marian Anderson Band's CD "St. Bernard's Waltz". We also adapted the ending of the dance so that it could be done in a three-couple set.
