Boriston Ness 6/8 64b Jig Deviser is unknown. This dance is first described in The Thistle no.16 dated January 1964 and states ‘this dance was sent to The Thistle a year or so ago (we could say in additional info. it is dated circa 1962) by someone whose name and address The Thistle has unfortunately lost. At that time Dr Hugh A Thurston was on the editorial team so it is not likely to have said the deviser was ‘unknown’ if in fact he devised it! Recommend need tune: Rosin the Bow Could Keith please add a diagram for this. The description can be found on LB website under Archives. Possibly Minicrib could add that too.
