Please add to Extra Info: MacLeod of Harris is a Wedding Dance from the Isle of Harris. This dance was given to aMrs MacNab by Torquil MacLeod late of Truro, Nova Scotia. In the dance we see the visiting wedding guests, The reel danced. The chain is the friendship ring. The last figure is the going home. Each couple stands at the door of their Croft and waves goodbye to their friends. Many thanks,
It is worth noting that this footnote is typical of the romantic approach Mrs MacNab saw the dancing. I feel it adds a charm of its own and typical of its time.
