you’ll probably will have read this; on FB scottish country dance teachers : Sue Petyt shared a link. 21 July 10.55· My website, www.suepetyt.me.uk will disappear at the beginning of August. I have not been able to update it for several years as the company hosting it has stopped replying to any help desk tickets I raise (along with many other users) so I will not be paying the invoice which I have just received. The videos will remain on YouTube, and I am happy to send instructions for dances to anyone if you contact me via this group. For Anselm Lingnau the email address associated with this page will no longer send emails so I have been unable to unsubscribe from strathspeys server. The email address will also cease to work at the beginning of August.
Can the contents (dance descriptions and video’s) be saved (via the way back machine) or otherwise? although they may be looking for other ways to keep it in the air? see replies on FB.

It does seem sensible to make copies of Sue Petyt’s website before it disappears. Some defunct websites have indeed been resuscitated from the wayback machine archive (mostly by Roland).

I made a complete copy of Sue’s web site and shall offer her to host it on Strathspey so her dances remain available (if she hasn’t yet made other arrangements).
