Our local branch has just completed a “Christmas in July” event. One of the dances on the program was “A Christmas Party Jig”. There is a mismatch in 2 places between the full dance instructions by Jean Shaw published in “29 Dances devised by Jean Shaw (North Wales)” https://my.strathspey.org/dd/publication/1464/ and the cribs. As detailed in Jean Shaw’s instructions the first 8 bars should be “All Circle 8H around to the left (only)” and the final 8 bars should be “All Circle 8H around to the right (only)”, however the cribs say “All Circle 8H around and back” in both places (at the beginning and at the end).

Thanks for reporting this. The crib was written by the MiniCrib team so I am forwarding to them to handle it.
