Description

Dear webmaster,

Sorry to bother you! I hope you are well.

My grandpa is David Wilson, for whom Robert (Bobbie) Forsyth Crowe wrote the tune ‘The Balmullo Blacksmith’ after grandpa became the World Champion Blacksmith at the Calgary Stampede in 1986. Gran and grandpa have the melody handwritten by Crowe up on their wall but I would love to hear a recording of the dance band playing the piece. Grandpa has it someplace on a tape, but it would be nice if someone could email it to me please or upload it onto this website so that we could enjoy hearing it.

I know you don’t like time-wasting questions, but chancing my luck in asking anyway.

Please could you look to see if you can find it and possibly upload it! Thank you very much.
