This is Croydon Branch's third book of dances, the other two books being published in 1989 and 1994.

This Branch was formed at a special meeting attended by Miss Jean Milligan and approximately 150 local dancers on 9th December 1953. The founder of our Branch was Mrs. Sandison, and the first President Mr. James Henderson-Stewart MP of the Scottish Office. The branch was originally named East-Surrey - West Kent Branch, changing its name to Croydon and District Branch in 1970.

To mark our anniversary this book of dances has been compiled by its membership.
