Weekly meetings in the Festival Hall, Talbot Road, Alderley Edge, SK9 7HR

Wednesdays. 7.30-8pm - Basic instruction. 8-10pm - General dance class

Come Jigging – It’s more fun than jogging!

Each dance is walked through several times with a qualified teacher, before it is danced. Beginners are given extra support by experienced dancers.
Each term a party night includes a “bring & share” supper. We have live musicians at our Annual Dance and other events. There are opportunities to give demonstrations, attend day schools, dance at the White Rose Festival and other local society dances.
Social Events - Various events throughout the year, including:
• Burns Night Dinner & Dance
• St Andrew’s Ceilidh
• End of Year Ceilidh
• Caledonian Cuppa
• Chairman’s Outing

Golf Tournament - Played each summer, with an annual dinner & trophy presentation.

Caledonian Crafters - A monthly meeting, on a Monday morning, of those interested in any craft, to share & encourage.

Nearest Groups

The distances in this list are geodesic distances (“as the crow flies”) between places with dance groups, rather than road distances between dance venues. Also note that while there may be several dance groups in the same town or city, their dance venues may be distant from one another even though they are all lumped together under one marker on the map.
