The Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey Border Branch, often referred to as the BHS Border Branch, covers the area between Oxford, London and Winchester branches, and acts as a liaison point for the many Scottish Country Dancing clubs within that area.

The Branch organises classes and events as follows:

Beginners Class (Wednesday), General Class (Wednesday), Advanced Class (Monday)

Autumn Social (September), Christmas Social (December), Dancers and Musicians Day School (March), Club Reps Meeting (March), Ball (May), Summer Tea Party (July), Summer Social Dancing (June - August)

With more than fifteen Scottish Country Dancing clubs in the local BHS area, dancing can be found most evenings of the week. All the clubs offer regular club sessions, sometimes the occasional tuition session and most hold annual dances or balls. Good communication between the clubs and the Branch prevents clashes and ensures a good spread of events throughout the year.

Nearest Groups

The distances in this list are geodesic distances (“as the crow flies”) between places with dance groups, rather than road distances between dance venues. Also note that while there may be several dance groups in the same town or city, their dance venues may be distant from one another even though they are all lumped together under one marker on the map.
